After two run-ins with the law in which two people were shot, he ended up at the infamous Brushy Mountain State Penitentiary, located in the rugged mountains of Morgan County.  This prison was placed there to discourage inmates from escaping.  <\/p>\n<p>Mr. Buckles was not discouraged.
