Homestead, Pennsylvania, was the site of a strike, pitting the Amalgamated Association of Iron and Steel Workers, one of the most powerful unions, against Carnegie Steel, owned by Andrew Carnegie and run by Carnegie and his partner, Henry Clay Frick.\u00a0 The strike turned into a full fledged riot on July 6.\u00a0 Today we tell the story of the Homestead Strike.<\/p>\n<p>You can subscribe to the
