An Interview With An Appalachian Moonshiner

Spread the love

Today we talk with a part of Appalachian history: a man who once ran moonshine in Henry County, Virginia, as a young man many decades ago.

His name is Ira Jackson Seay, and he certainly has a story to tell, so sit back and listen. He also has a book about his adventures, which you can find at this link: https://www.amazon.com/Moonshine-Mules-Mayhem-Jackson-Seay/dp/1387280457/ref=sr_1_1?crid=2NXNH8ZB4NFB1&keywords=moonshine+mules+and+mayhem&qid=1659123762&sprefix=moonshine+mules+and+mayhem%2Caps%2C80&sr=8-1
