Merry Christmas, one and all!!
As a Christmas present for you, we have a brand new, YouTube only story about a man who led a colonial Virginia exploration of Appalachia in 1750. This man, Dr. Thomas Walker, came through East Tennessee, Southwest Virginia and Eastern Kentucky, where he passed through and named the most important western pass in American history, the Cumberland Gap. We’ll tell his story and show you some of those places he wrote about in his journal.
