Early in the 20th century two African-American boys from Franklin County, Virginia, George and Willie Muse, unwillingly became part of the circus sideshow. The two, both albinos, became a huge draw and made their “manager” a lot of money, which he declined to share with them, at least until he was made to do so by a judge.
Today we tell the story of George and Willie, better known to their audiences as Eko and Iko, The Ambassadors from Mars.
